Let’s sue the TBTF banks! We have two stories on that:

Bloomberg: BofA Put Toxic Debt in Bond as Staff Resisted, U.S. Says
and
Bloomberg: JPMorgan Sued With Goldman in Aluminum Antitrust Case

Neither of these stories surprises me, especially the second one. It’s been known for years that JPMorgan intentionally manipulated the silver market. When they stopped, silver ran up like crazy. So hearing they might have manipulated aluminum is no great shock, and typical behavior for “Godfather” Jaimie Dimon’s gang…

The Weekly Standard: Obama: ‘We Don’t Have a Domestic Spying Program’

For bald-faced lies, this one takes the prize:

President Obama tells comedian Jay Leno that “We don’t have a domestic spying program.” He made the comment during a taping of Leno’s TV show.

Really? Then why is the DEA using information from the NSA?

  1. But it isn’t a domestic spying program. It is a world spying program and it just so happens to cover the USA because, well, it is part of the world. Sometimes I actually wonder if they start believing their lies as the get deeper in them or whether they are really just actors that can just keep rolling with the lies. The patriot act gives them the authority to spy domestically so it’s not like he has to lie about it.
