Ed’s Daily Notes for October 21st   Leave a comment

There isn’t much in the news this morning, unless you want to hear about the usual Washington budget arguments (no progress on the next deal yet), or that Gravity won the weekend box office again (well-deserved, in my opinion).

So let’s look at the earnings reports coming out this week:

MONDAY: McDonald’s (MCD)
TUESDAY: United Technologies Corp. (UTX), Amgen (AMGN), E.I. du Pont (DD)
WEDNESDAY: AT&T (T), Boeing (BA), Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY), Caterpillar (CAT), Eli Lilly (LLY)
THURSDAY: Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon.com (AMZN), 3M Co. (MMM), Altria (MO), Ford Motor (F), Celgene (CELG), Colgate-Palmolive (CL)
FRIDAY: Procter & Gamble (PG), United Parcel Service (UPS), Abbvie (ABBV)

Also on the calendar for Tuesday, we will finally get the much delayed U.S. Jobs report for September.
