  1. Ed, I am not sure which one is worst, SYMC’s stock price ah or WILN’s trade being halted. “Wi-Lan loses patent infringement lawsuit against Apple. When Wi-Lan lost a infringement suit against Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson, HTC, and Sony back in July, shares fell over 30%. Having run 23% from Sept. lows, WILN shares may have a lot to give up once the trading halt is lifted.”

I bought WILN yesterday. Talk about bad timing!!!

    • Lynn, If WILN can’t win in Marshall, TX it can’t win anywhere. Marshall is my hometown and it is known for finding against the defendants in patent cases (See “Rocket Docket” in New York Times, WSJ, etc.). Hope WILN bounces back and you come out ahead in a longer run.

    • Thanks Tom. One good lesson to learn here, don’t invest into Canadian high tech companies. About 12 years ago, it was Nortel and then Blackberry and now Wi-Lan. 😦

  2. Ed

Thoughts on SYMC quarter? Would you buy tommorrow on the dip? FTNT also in same space had good quarter.
